Hello, I am Dan Shaw. I am a Physical Therapist and Director of Rehabilitation Services for Saltzer Medical Group. I was born and raised in McCall, Idaho and graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 1993 and Idaho State University with a Masters of Physical Therapy degree in 1996. I have been working in the Nampa Community now since 1996, initially at the MOST clinics for Mercy Medical Center and currently for Saltzer since 2005. I have always enjoyed the “small town” atmosphere in Idaho and meeting and helping so many people over the years. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the satisfaction of our patients when they can report less pain and normal function. I am also blessed at home with my beautiful wife Sharon, and two wonderful boys, Braden and Jaxson

Howard Shoemaker, M.D.

Howard Shoemaker M.D. / MHS is the Treasure Valley's newest expert in the field of Occupational Health. Board Certified, Dr. Shoemaker is a 30 year veteran of Occupational / Preventative Medicine.

Dr. Shoemaker obtained his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine followed by his Master of Health Sciences at the University of Colorado. Additionally, Dr. Shoemaker is a Certified Medical Review Officer as well as a Certified Independent Medical Examiner.

Extensive experience in all forms of Occupational Medicine includes 14 years in hospital based medical programs, 15 years as the in-house Medical Director for a major telecommunications company in Colorado and 4 years in Idaho / Oregon with physician-owned medical groups. Dr. Shoemaker has extensive experience as a consultant to all types of industries ranging from preventative to injury treatment perspectives.
