The Occupational Health program at Saltzer Medical Group is committed to assisting employers with promoting injury and illness prevention through a variety of available options. Services include but are not limited to: immunization clinics (hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and influenza), health risk assessments (cholesterol screening and body composition), diabetic education, pre-employment and DOT physicals, drug screening, CPR, body mechanic training, smoking cessation, and ergonomics. Many services are available at the employer’s location, such as “brown bag lunches” and participation in corporate wellness programs and health fairs. A dedicated Occupational Health Coordinator is available to provide direction with health awareness and safety programs and coordinate services.
